Bethany Swart

This is my first year teaching at OCS, but I have 6 years in the classroom and many years at home when we homeschooled.

I am a product of great educators — I come from a family of great teachers, and I've had many incredible teachers who inspired me.  In college, I knew rather quickly I wanted to go into education and God confirmed that desire through my studies and classroom experiences.  I enjoy working with kids and seeing that “aha” moment when they learn something new.  I love that I have the opportunity to speak love, truth, and encouragement into students' lives each day and how wonderful that at OCS we get to do that from a faith-based perspective!
