I have been teaching for 12 years, 11 of them at OCS.  I love teaching in middle school because students are in their most vulnerable and transformative years of life. Kids are discovering who they are and what the world is about, and they are still moldable, shapeable, and open to learning.  Being able to speak the truth of God's word and unfold the discoveries of His creation in science is simply a doorway into sharing the Gospel daily to students who are discovering who they are in Christ.

My Deep Hope is that students experience Christ daily through the revelation of God's exquisite creation and in the special calling on their lives.  Colossians 1:16 says, “For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things were created through Him and for Him.”
