TO HELP US CELEBRATE 25 YEARS OF OUR RUN-JOG-WALKATHON, WE ARE ADDING A BIKE RIDE TO THIS YEAR'S EVENT ON MAY 10, 2008.

We are pleased to announce the OCS Unity Ride that will be on the day after the Run-Jog-Walkathon.   Details are now available.  You may go to www.oostburgchristian.com/unityride for information.

 Since the 1980’s, our students have been running, jogging, and walking to their neighbors and friends to get pledges for our school.   On the day of the event, our students, along with family and friends gather to go around the playground 20 times in a festive atmosphere with a motorcycle police officer leading the way.   

Each year, there is a mascot chosen who inspires everyone to raise funds and earn prizes.  This year we are pleased to announce SYLVESTER THE CAT!  He will appear at school on various occasions.

We have updated our prize levels to combine the two events.  Students are excited about earning Webkinz, Heelys, a Green Machine, and many other items that are seen in our school's display case in the front entrance!
