God is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. Students were reminded of God's faithfulness as they experienced a day of life in the 1800's in the village of Oostburg. They learned about the church, the blacksmith, the home, the hardware store, the general store, weaving, quilting, Dutch kettle cooking, beading, fishing, knitting, the sinking of the Phoenix, making ole bolen, playing old-time games, and many other activities of the nineteenth century.
