from the Music Room
Some really cool things going on in music this year include:
* Eleven 8th graders practicing together to provide worship time
for the 5th - 8th grade students twice monthly.
*All thirteen Jr High girls having fun with a special rendition of "Gilligan's Island" for our Open House on Tuesday, September 29.
*The 7th/8th graders learning "Ode to Joy" Beethoven's way, and also making it their own.
*The 6th-8th graders learning the infamous "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel, with a Latin text based on Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8.
*Students at all levels are having fun playing and singing
"Ode to Joy".
**Mrs. D has learned everyone's name!
*All 6th-8th grade students are to be practicing their choir music for 20 minutes every week,
for a total of 60 minutes so far this marking period.
