Unity Groups
Unity Groups bring unity to our school by bringing together older and younger children for social, academic, and spiritual growth. Students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade are assigned to groups of six to eight students for the entire year. Each Unity Group is led by an eighth grade student.The Unity Groups meet every Wednesday morning for a time of prayer; they also meet monthly to work on a group project. The younger children very quickly form close relationships with the older students. The Unity Groups spend time praying for needs in our community and world, and participate in service projects including visiting nursing homes, writing letters to community volunteers, elderly persons, and missionaries, and collecting items for soldiers serving overseas.
